Welcome to my new blog!

Well, here it is. My blog. It's something I've threatened to do. And there are some who have insisted I start blogging. OK, so here goes...

I'm here to promote creativity. I want you to make something. So I'm going to tell you about cool stuff or fun projects or goodies to read about that will help you make stuff. Think of me as the little craft pixie that gets you to do something creative. Hopefully you'll be inspired to try something new or maybe go back into your craft archives and make something that you made ages ago.

Let me start by telling you about the winter CHA show in Anaheim, California. For those who don't know, the CHA show is the Craft and Hobby Association show that happens twice a year and there are more craft and art supplies there than the average person could imagine. EGAD! Such a good time! So many goodies! Inspiration for days!

So far my favorite product was the machine that helps you make your own rubber stamps. Who couldn't use that?! Then there's the kiln for your microwave. Huh? Fuse a piece of glass in 3 minutes...and even the Elmer's cutting pen, that leaves a border on each side of the paper being cut. Stretchy ink jet t-shirt transfers. See. And these just scratch the surface of what was available.

So I close my first blog with anticipation of what crafty adventures this will help create. It should be fun. And let me know what you think or if you have any crafty ideas or projects you want to share.

Thanks,
Cathi

We need names! LOL So are the products actually out yet? I could see a microwave kiln being very useful!

When is the Bower's Bead show this year? I am a little more flush with cash this year, so watch out. I'll be that lady who bought all your mini's two years ago...grumble...lol
